Video: June 1, 2010 MVCC Forum For 36th Congressional District & 53rd Assembly District Candidates

Moderator: Brian Watt, of KPCC and Southern California Public Radio

The format for the event consisted of a three-minute opening statement from the candidates, followed by a series of questions submitted by Mar Vista stakeholders, after which there was a one-minute closing statement from each candidate.

Participants from the 53rd Assembly District race: Democrats Kate Anderson, Betsy Butler, Nick Karno, James T. Lau, Edgar Saenz, Peter Thottam, Diane M. Wallace; Republican Nathan Mintz; and Green Lisa Ann Green. Confirmed participants from the 36th Congressional District: Democrat Marcy Winograd; Republicans Pete Kesterson, and Andrew J. Sharp; and Libertarian Herb Peters.
