MVCC Position on Bundy Village
Submitted by smcommins on Wed May 19, 2010, 10:56am
The Mar Vista Community Council strongly recommends:
1. The Bundy Village land use determination should wait until the adoption of the West L.A. Community Plan, which is currently being revised.
2. The project should include a significant open space, in the form of a large plaza or a sports field, or other substantial green areas and open to the public for their enjoyment.
3. The estimates of traffic generated by Bundy Village should use realistic and proper metrics appropriate to the community in which the project will be built.
4. The project should be downsized in order to reduce all significant adverse impacts for which no mitigation is possible.
5. All mitigation measures required by the City of Los Angeles for Bundy Village shall be physically established and fully functional prior to the issue of certificates of occupancy for any portion of the project
