Elections & Bylaws Committee

1. Ensure that the Mar Vista Community Council conforms with the Election Procedures of the Los Angeles City Clerk and to support  the election efforts of the Mar Vista Community Council and the Greater Mar Vista Community.
2. Ensure that the Mar Vista Community Council's Bylaws conform with the City of Los Angeles and Department of Neighborhood Empowerment guidelines, and that they provide a procedural framework which promotes the effectiveness of the Mar Vista Community Council.
3. Provide a forum for the creation, changes, and discussion of the bylaws and rules that govern the MVCC.
