April 18th Santa Monica Airport Protest Includes City Leaders

 Several dozen people of all ages, including City leaders such as Bill Rosendahl, Paul Koretz, and Ted Lieu, gathered from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday April 18 in protest of the air pollution created by jet aircraft using the Santa Monica Airport.

MVCC Green Garden Tour A Huge Success!

The Mar Vista Green Garden Showcase was a huge success! Our traffic on the web site was double that of last year. With 6 walking tours and 80 gardens we had double the number of guests on the tour. We were delighted to have a number of our city officials drop by - Councilman Bill Rosendahl, Austin Beutner of the LADWP and Commissioner Paula Daniels from the Department of Public Works.
